MeetingDesk Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 19, 2026

This policy explains how MeetingDesk handles information when you use the Windows desktop application, connect a Google, Microsoft or Zoom account, or contact support.

Who is responsible

MeetingDesk is provided by Graure Elena Carmen. Marketplace business information may also identify GMI Electronice S.R.L. and its legal representative, Graure Mihai, where required by the applicable marketplace. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to [email protected].

Information MeetingDesk accesses

MeetingDesk processes information only after you choose to connect a provider and approve the permissions shown by that provider.

MeetingDesk also stores meeting titles, joining links, schedule information, notes, reminder settings and automatic-join preferences that you add or synchronize.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide user-facing MeetingDesk features: identify the connected account; display and synchronize meetings; create, update or delete a provider event after you initiate the action; display eligible summaries; remind you; and open a joining link at the time you selected. Google user data is not used for advertising, credit decisions or training generalized artificial-intelligence models.

Storage and security

MeetingDesk does not operate a publisher-controlled cloud backend for provider account data. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted on the device with Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI) for the current Windows user. Meeting data and settings are stored in the current user's local application-data folder. Provider API traffic is sent directly over HTTPS.

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell, rent or share provider user data with advertisers, data brokers or unrelated third parties. MeetingDesk communicates directly with Google, Microsoft and Zoom to perform actions you request. Information may be disclosed only when required by law, to protect users and the service from abuse, or with your explicit consent.

MeetingDesk's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention, deletion and revocation

Local data remains on the device until you disconnect an account, delete an item, uninstall MeetingDesk or remove its local application-data folder. Disconnecting deletes the selected provider's protected local token and locally synchronized rows; it does not delete provider events unless you explicitly choose a delete action in MeetingDesk. You can also revoke MeetingDesk from the connected-apps page of your Google, Microsoft or Zoom account.

Device permissions

Provider meeting pages can ask for camera and microphone access when you join a call. Media is handled by the provider's meeting experience and is not recorded or stored by MeetingDesk.

Support communications

If you contact support, the operator receives the information you choose to include, such as your email address, Windows version, app version and problem description. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, meeting passcodes or unnecessary personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can decline authorization, disconnect an account, revoke provider access and delete local MeetingDesk data. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or receive a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent.

Children

MeetingDesk is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when MeetingDesk's features or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to Graure Elena Carmen at [email protected].
